UAC Hangs Desktop Sharing

Whenever am in control of a user's Desktop and am doing a task that requires Administrative privileges I cannot do anything from my side including typing the password!

I have read about this issue.. and would like to know if there is a workaround or any other changess with newer versions? is this the same for Skype for Business?

What version of Lync client you are using? Is it running with latest patches? Is this isolated issue or widespread in organization? If it is isolated to you, I would prefer update Lync client with latest patches ( don't apply Skype for Business patch) and test.

Am running an updated Lync 2013 with all of the patches, it is the Lync of the Office 365 ProPlus E3 plan.. if this issue is resolved in Skype for Business I would go for it as am still testing

If you are using Lync Online, upgrade your client to Skype for Business. Lync Online backend already upgraded to Skype for Business.
