UAC: please add back the vista keyboard accelerators
in win7's UAC consent dialogs the accelerator (in en-US, at least) is Alt-Y. which is a complete pain to type with your left hand. in vista it was either Alt-C (continue) or Alt-A (allow) which were much easier to type. I like UAC in general - i hate the new dialogs :(

I take it that you are onehanded. Have you tried using sticky keys?No matter what Microsoft comes up with in terms of shortcut keys some with disabilities willhave trouble no matter if the right or left hand are missing or it is something else.

I take it that you are onehanded. no, i have both hands. it's just that the UAC prompt usually appears because of something I clicked on with the mouse in my right hand. now I have to take my right hand off the mouse temporarily to hit the Y key. I can't reach over with my left hand on my ergonomic keyboard without dislocating my wrist - then I'd only have one hand...

That is because in Windows 7 systems the two selections are Yes or No, which is different in Windows Vista (Continue Cancel).Arthur Xie - MSFT

i realise why Y & N are accelerator keys. I'm just requesting that there be an additional accelerator key (Alt-C) to provide backward compatibility... BTW: ESC no longer cancels this dialog....
