UAC, Firewall, and Remote Desktop settings in Enterprise envorinment?

We are finally getting ready to deploy 8.1 (from Win7) until Win10 is available. In 7 we always disabled the Firewall service, sat Remote Registry to auto, and enabled Remote desktop connections from workstations running NLA, however when I attempt to do this in 8.1, it states that you can not enable Remote desktop connections when the Firewall service is disabled. I also thought that disabling UAC in 8.1 broke the universal apps and MS Store, but our Surfaces don't seem to have issues with the universal apps at least with UAC disabled. What settings have you found to work best in your environment?

Hi,

In my opinion, UAC and Firewall is necessary to keep your system from being infected by virus or malware.

On the other hand, when UAC disabled, Modern APP won't be run correctly.

Disabling the firewall service is a bad idea, breaks half a dozen things, and is not supported by Microsoft since Vista.
