Two networks on one adapter
Hi there guys Ihave Vista Ultimate installed on Acer Travelmate 6460 series laptop. OnceI made ad hoc wi fi connection and shared my wired internet with a colleague. Since then when I have two networks both showing themain connectionIP settings, but i do not have internet access. The PC was hibernatedwithout droping the ad hoc connection and theI got the effect. Tried to delete all networks and settings, from GUI and registry, but after Vista still finds two networks oin one adapter. The ad hoc wi fi connection i deleted, and ICS flag of the main connection is unchecked. According to meproblem is connected with ICS, but i ran out of ideas what to check and change. Does anyone have similar problem .. andmaybe solution ? Thanks

I'm having the same problem, but with Vista Basic on a desktop. The network adapter is connecting to two networks and unable to connect to the Internet. I've been unable to delete the ad hoc connection without removing or disabling the entire adapter, and as soon as I reinstall or enable the adapter, both networks reconnect... but it sometimes takes a while to happen, during which time the system is sluggish. I did my MCSE on Windows 2000 and completed my training just before XP came out... and I haven't had time to learn anything in depth about Vista, but the more I learn, the less I like it... and I didn't like it much to begin with.
