OK. I have a 32-bit Windows 7 Professional laptop computer. This computer is either on the LAN directly at work, on the WIFI at work, or on the WIFI at home and VPN'd into work. I want to hook up my cell phone as another network source, but I don't want
the host to access it at all. I want to have a VM on the host use this connection. Two network connections with two different and specific uses. I don't want the computer to use the network through the phone at all. Is this possible under windows 7?

I think it is possible.
You can use
"Internet Protocol (tcp/ip)" properties
"Advanced" button
"Ip Settings" and uncheck Automatic metric
Enter for example for
LAN 10
Wireless 20
Cell phone 100
This should force your computer to use the interface with the lowest value.
And for the virtual machine you can bind it to any interface you want.

OK... I did these steps and I am setting up my virtual machine now. It looks like everything is sitting well, I will let you know and mark as answer when I am done if it works the way I want it to. Thanks for your help.

I attempted what you said, but it appeared to in some way to still want to access the internet through my cell phone. Its weird, everything with the VM worked as you said it would and as I wanted. However, the firewall at work directs the home page on the
intranet, and even though the same sites were blocked it still directed me to the generic internet page that can be seen from any computer on the internet. It was odd, and worried me a little. So, yes your suggestion appeared to work, but wasn't a 100% complete
solution.

The solution I found, I disabled all of the protocols on my cell phones network connection with the exception of the VM Bridge protocol and I disabled only the VM Bridge protocol on the LAN and WIFI network adapters. This worked wonderfully, and a 100% complete
solution. I would not have found it without first going your route, so thank you so much for your help.
