Two mouse pointers visible when connected from Windows virtual PC via RDP
I have two mouse pointers (cursors) visible when I am connected from Windows virtual PC via RDP. Host PC: Windows 7 32bit Guest PC: Windows XP running as virtual PC on Windows 7 64 bit Virtual PC: Windows Virtual PC Current: W7 64 bit -> Windows Virtual PC (WXP) -> RDP -> W7 32bit Previous worked fine: W Vista 64 bit -> Microsoft Virtual PC (WXP) -> RDP -> W7 32bit ----------- 3 occurences: http://cid-a23ec8a99b46e110.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Technet/doublePointer.png

Hello,Try to change the following remote desktop settings:1. Start remote desktop. Click Options.2. In Display tab, change the Display configuration to Full Screen.3. Use another color depth to see if the issue persists. Thomas77

Thomas,The change to 256 colors solves the problem with the duplicated mouse pointer (cursor) but unfortunately makes most application hardly useable.The change to 15-bit color mode does not change the problem.But anyway, thank you for your answer.Míra

Hi Mira, Rt click - personalize-change mouse pointers-pointers-go to scheme -select NONE- Press apply It works !1
