Two files with exactly same name cannot remove.
I have many files which appear duplicate on desktop. I made a screenshot of them: http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/9629/duplicates.png Both files have the same size. If i move the original file to the recycle bin the size of the blank one left on desktop is 0 and if i try remove it a message box appear that "couldnt find that element". When i recover a file from recycle bin i come back to the starting position but if i empty recycle bin the blank one file left on desktop show weird properties and i cant remove it from there (cannot find that element) (screenshot of properties: http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/3014/propert.png ). Does anyone know solution how to fix this. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate. I found also that this happens when i use Firefox to download office files and pictures from mailbox to desktop.

The issue can be caused by one of the background programs. Can you remove the files in Clean Boot Mode? If it works properly in Clean Boot Mode, I suggest you troubleshoot in Clean Boot Mode. Perform a clean startup to determine whether background programs are interfering with your game or program However if the issue persists in Clean Boot Mode, please let us know if it works with a new user profile. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
