Two drive system with one boot the other system
I have two drives in my box. The C: drive shows as System, Active, Primary Partition. The D: drive shows as Boot, Active, Primary Partition. I bought a SSD and want to clone so it is now the boot drive. How do I move the BCD files from D: to C: so that I can clone C to my SSD? I have many much on my C and D drives so starting over is a last option. When I've tried BCDBOOT (in any combination) I get checksum errors? Help

Hi, Do you want to boot from your SSD? You needn’t to move the BCD file, you can use BCDEDIT command to modify the boot drive. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731662(WS.10).aspx Regards, Leo Huang Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
