I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on an older machine. I ran the compatibility utility before doing so and it indicated it was OK. I have had it "blue screen" twice. Once during the while installing updates and once while using IE8. I have the .dmp files. A quick look at the blue screens indicated two different .sys filesHow can I resolve the issues? Please post the specifics of the BSODs and the driver names. This forum does not have any file attachment feature, so you would have to email the files, however you have to get someone on your thread who can decipher the codes and things in there (which I'm not that good at it). What hardware is the older machine running on (processor, ram, etc)? Does removing a stick of RAM help with the problem? Hello!
