Turn off or bypass recycle bin
Is there any way to turn off or bypass the recycle bin when deleting files? I'm trying to delete dozens of multi-gigabyte folders and it takes hours for each one or so it seems. I tried to delete less than a dozen 4GB folders, started at 9:00 Pm and there were still some left at 6:00 the next morning. Plus, the need to write to two drives sucks up drive access and CPU. I already know I don't want these folders. Just let me whack them.Fr Elise - Support the Heart & Breast Cancer Foundations.

Hi LilBro,
You can use the shortcut key Shift+Delete as Vistaline mentioned to delete the files permanently.
Also, you can change the Recycle Bin properties by right clicking the Recycle Bin -> Properties -> choose "Don't move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted." -> OK.
