Every time I try signing into my Xbox Live account on Windows 8 playing Mahjong it checks the price on it and asks me if I want to install it, I already have, so I click yes and it displays "you already own this item" and then displays this message:

"To use this app, you need to sign in with the microsoft account that was used to download it."
So I go to the store, redo my account settings to my Xbox Live account and then I download another game and it won't let me connect to Xbox Live still. What's going on?

I suggest to logon with your Microsoft account first, then reinstall Mahjong from App Store for test.

And base on my test, Microsoft mahjong seems need Microsoft account for play.

I have uninstalled Mahjong, rebooted, logged into the Xbox app, installed Mahjong, same error.  It says I already own the app but will not log in.

Firewall is open and I can log into my live account, Xbox account with no problems.  This is happening with all Xbox games that require Xbox log in.

Someone suggested removing my live account, since Microsoft requires this log in and I shouldnt have to format my frikken computer to use this game on my brand new surface.

How do I fix this?

Same problem but with Wordament - all working fine until yesterday!  What's going on?!

Same problems with all xbox games. using build 9926

Agreed.  My Age of Empires Castle siege will no longer allow me to log in and play since getting the 9926 update!  I have re-installed the game 2 or three times now with no avail.
