Trying to run Windows Live One Care Safety Scanner
I have now tried this on 3 computers that are not networked to each other in any way. I went to this link http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/howsafe.htm and chose to run the protection scan and it quickly loads files 1 to 4 and then on file 5 of 8, it sits at 50% for about 5-15 minutes and then has a red error box pop up that it couldn't run or load or finish. Is this area/site experiencing some problems at the moment? The error just popped up again and I copied it: 0X084028021 person got this answerI do too

Try to run scanner using Internet Explorer if you use different browser. Also this time try:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmSee what is error. Try to update java from control panel and update Windows . Restart your PC and see the result, it also might cause network delay. You could chose different location to scan by click on language in top right corner of page.
