Trying to get on to the server running server 2003 with Win 7
Setting up Windows 7 on a network compture but i am unable to connect to the sever that is useing server 2003 The other computers are running on XP proI am able to connect to the internetI am getting the following error "An attenpet to resolve the DNS name of the domain controller. The name that is used and the computer name are on the server.How can i fix this problem?

What is the DNS address used by the Win 7 machine? It should be the IP address of the DC. That is how a client finds a DC to log into. What happens if you do an nslookup of the domain name from a command prompt?Bill
