Trying to get from one site usajobs.gov to another site by clicking on their links.  HOWEVER getting "There is a problem wiht this websites security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificatethe certificat presented by this website was issued for different websits addresss.I am trying to apply to the website https://chart.donhr.navymil/main.aspx I tried using the information listed @support.microsoft.com /kb/931850 but i do no have Windows SBS or a client server.I have contacted HP the maker of my computer---no luck, and I have contacted McAfee Software to see if they had any suggestions. No luck.I really need to apply for this job, but can't seem to get around the certificate problems.Help!!!1 person got this answerI do too

Thanks--Nice to know its not my computer. Really frustrated!!! Need this job. Sooooooooo qualified for it. It's a real job, and its a real job site, just can't figure out the problem. Closes on Jan 10. Contact people are in San Diego, Ca and they want all the paperwork online. Has a contact phone number, will try and see what will happen,

Besides the fact that you have left out a period in the URL (there should be a "." between "navy" and "mil"), the problem here is that the secure certificate that is used to communicate with this site is derived from a DOD certificate (DOD-21) that can not been traced back to a standard default "Root" certificate in Windows and thus Windows will not trust it.The proper solution is to load (import) the Root DOD certificates into the "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities" certificate Store in your copy of Microsoft Windows. Instructions for doing this can be found here: <https://knowledge.verisign.com/support/eca-support/index?page=content&id=SO5198 >This will instruct you to go to this site to download certificates and instructs you as to how to load the certificates <http://dodpki.c3pki.chamb.disa.mil/rootca.html >After loading the certificates and restarting Internet Explorer, you should be able to access this site.HTH, JW
