Trying to allow conhost.exe through my software firewall permanently
Hi, I use Shaw Secure(F-Secure) anti-virus and firewall. When I boot up Windows 7, conhost.exe constantly asks for permission and I'm talking like about 15-25 times. After the 15-25 initial times it asks intermittently for permissions. I have found conhost.exe in windows/system 32/conhost.exe through explorer, however, when I try to add to F-Secure's permissions it can't found. I have tried all the settings....ie: apps, exe's, all files and no go. Any advice on this? Am I giving enough information to you all. I used to run Vista 64 Ultimate and never had this problem. Please tell me there's a quick fix, lol. It's just damn annoying.

Hi Baudouin, What I did was uninstalled Shaw Secure(F-Secure) and went to the F-Secure website and downloaded their new beta program. It made a huge difference. My net speed improved as well. Here's a link.... http://www.f-secure.com/en_EMEA/downloads/beta-programs/ Hope it helps.

Anyway, with this, conhost.exe FS pop-up appear again ... but only one time. Can work with this and wait the next amelioration without to feel too much harassed.
