Trying to add Group Policy Editor to Stand-alone Snap-ins (XP Home)
I am followingwindows article 307882 on how to use the Group Policy Editor, to try and add this, but after I get past the Add/Remove Snap-in and look at the available Stand-alone Snap-ins, Group Policy is not listed, so how can I add it in?I'm trying this as the computer takes forever to shut down so want to check if something has set it to clear virtual memory on shutting down, which I understand takes a long time. Thanks in advance for your help.1 person got this answerI do too

Thanks John,One of the links lead to creating a shutdown shortcut which whilst I do not know what it misses out during the shutdown process, it certainly works. Thanks again.H
