Hi guys, I have the HDD from my old laptop that was running Vista. I am trying to backup the pictures from the HDD but when I copy them over the directory is empty but the size of the directory matches the size of the folder from the old HDD. Is this a permissions issue? I tried to take control of the directory on the new HDD but that didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you tried running CHKDSK on the volume to see if it's corrupted? Are you set up to view system or hidden files? -Noel
