Trying to Setup/Re-Establish Outlook Express 6 on a repaired Win XP desktop.
I recently repaired a friend's PC after it had been a victum of a lightning strike. I been able to get everything going again with the exception of OE 6 even though all the start up info on the PC and the ISP (Charter Cable) match. The ISP tech support told me that they have done all they can, but can't do anything more with OE and that we should get with Microsoft for a solution.BTW, I was able to access his email via Web mail, but he wants what he had before and that's being able to send & receive email via OE. I really cannot tell you why it won't work, I just know that it won't even though everything matches and should work.Any ideas? I'm bummed out!! 1 person needs an answerI do too
