Happy New Year, I am single user of Win-7 and have the same issue with my machine. It's not my intention to modify the file system in anyway, although, the TrustedInstaller and the "Everyone" users accounts seem to prevent me from fixing a problem. Example 1: trying to uninstall a corrupted nVidia file that is owed by the "TrustedInstaller". Example 2: The system was somehow set to "parental control" and generated another user account. The user account is hidden even after logging in as the Administrator. Question 1:How do I find out the purpose of each "user" and "users" accounts and which came standard on Win7-64? Question 2: How do I validate my system file are set for single user and not for a server? Regards, Dave

You can't edit the ownership if you it says you don't have permission it gets really annoying especially if your trying to fix something that went wrong
