Trusted Installer
After installing Windows7 32 bit and then Office Standard followed by several programs I now find I am blocked from useing most of these programs because "Trusted Installer" has taken charge and won't allow me access.I can neither uninstall, change or any other way gain access. The default quick starts on the task bar have been removed also and will not reattach.I made acouple of attemps to install Win7 OS on the same disk on old Motherboard which would not boot from sata drive and win 7 would not install to ide drive. "Trusted Installer" will not allow me to delete these install attemts.OS: Windows 7 OEMMB: MSI 790GX-G65Processor: AMD AM# AMII X3RAM: Kingston DDR3 1333

Although not directly related to Win 7, you may have the same issue. Reset the service.

<"Trusted Installer" will not allow me to delete these install attemts.>Run Disc Cleanup (Advanced option) - there, you'll see the option to "delete previous Windows installations" (or similar wording.)Also Google for vista disc cleanup windows.oldAs to the other issues (can't launch installed programs):Do you have UAC enabled yes/no? Was UAC enabled when you were installing the apps?HTH,Chris[If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. Hi, As Nano is mentioned, you can check the Event Log and verify its relevant settings. Meanwhile, you can also refer to the following article to take ownership of the folder. Take ownership of the folder If the issue persists, please also perform a System Restore for a test. Thanks, Novak
