Trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed when joining windows 7 to 2000 domain.
We are working on rolling out windows 7 and I am performing some initial testing. I am joining a computer with windows 7 ultimate to our windows 2000 domain. When I join the domain I get the error "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed." The computer is listed in AD and is enabled. The account I am using is enabled and is an administrator account. When I look in AD at the properties of the computer it lists windows 7 on the os. On the computer itself it does show the full computer name as name.domain.com. Any suggestions for getting around this error? I have wiped and reloaded the computer once. The computer has a network connection. I have removed the computer from AD and re-added. I have added it back to the local workgroup and rejoined.
