My Wife cannot get her hotmail acct setup to work in Outlook Express and I've been unsuccessful in figuring out the problem. She has a Microsoft Hotmail acct using HTTP settings. System keeps telling her she her logon or password are incorrect. Logon & PW work fine in the web-interface? 1 person needs an answerI do too

You cannot use Outlook Express's HTTP account type to access Hotmail. This became true on September 1, 2009 when Microsoft disabled the WebDAV protocol. If you want to access Hotmail with Outlook Express you need to use a POP account.
