Troubleshoot Microsoft Internet Explorer help? Please?
My laptop won't connect to the Internet. It isnt my modem thats not working, because the other computer's Internet is fine. I can't connect to my friends Internet either. A message at the "Action center" Says "Troubleshoot Microsoft Internet Explorer" and when I click on it, It says "The solution could not be downloaded. Most likely causes: Your computer was unable to download the solution at this time. Check to make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, and then try to download th solution again later." In the bar at the top it reads Control panel> all control panel items>Action center>Message details. My Conection status is "Currently connected to: Unidentified network- No internet access." Underneath it says I am conected to Dlink. I have a Windows 7 XP. Im sorry i couldnt go into much detail, simply because I dont know much about computers. Help please!

When did this start happening? Had you made any changes to software or hardware? Did you apply Windows Updates? Open Device Manager (click on Start , type devmgmt and press Enter ) and see if there are any yellow or red marks, especially under the Network adapte r area. If there are, right click on the Wireless adapter and select Uninstall . Once that's done, reboot and Win 7 will reload the driver for the device.
