Trouble with slow start up
when i click on the internet xp button on my desktop it takes 10 minutes to load my home page . Can anyone help with someideas to make it load faster 1 person got this answerI do too

Have you emptied Temp \ History files? Try a Disk Cleanup to see if it will speed up things. Software to take advertisers cookies off your hard drive and this will speed up windows and Internet Explorer. When you run Spybot check all the cookies and advertisement to remove them by clicking a button at the top of the program. u will catch on fast. The internet connection or Internet provider is very important in finding browsing speed, hook up to high speed internet, cable is best with a modum and ethernet connection. Run the connect to the Internet wizzard. Also set up a network, home or office, for better connection run the wizzards. They move little connections around for best performance. START>Control Panel> Network and Sharing>connect to a network> or set up a connection using the wizzard. HP and vista are a little different, but you get the general idea you can probley keep pushing buttons till it works.

I suggest you to manage you ie add onn. Click Tools And click Manage Add-Onns. Disable any add on that you rarely use and look at the load time each extension to load, if there is.
