Trouble with UAC - Disable
Hello Guys, I have an issue regarding UAC. Appeared in customer demand to disable UAC, however I am having problems in an application, for it to work it must be elevated credentials (The User is part of the Power Users group), however when I disable UAC application stops working, you guys know how I can get around this problem? PS: I can not give Full Control to the directory users and not for any other group

Did you guys have a shim applied prior to switching off UAC? What if you set the compatibility mode to Run as An Administrator?PLEASE MARK ANY ANSWERS TO HELP OTHERS Blog: rorymon.com Twitter: @Rorymon

Please try Rorymon's suggestion to set the compatibility mode to Run as An Administrator. The steps are, Right click the .exe file and select Properties, then select "Run this program as an administrator" under Compatibility tab.

Hi Guys, There is the possibility of raising the credentials without user interaction? My concern is only with the warning that appears to the User. Is there any way to do this? Regards
