Trouble with Connection Do To Not Allowing Access for a Program
Hi, Today my mom was on her computer and one of those programs that requires access popped up but she didn't allow it. Now, we can't access the internet; even though it says the computer is connected it won't let us use any of the browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari). I'm thinking there is a way to get back to this programs to allow access, but since she doesn't remember the name of it so I don't even know where to start. So does anyone have a clue about what to do? I'm not sure if what I said makes sense, so just let me know if you need more info! Thanks :)

Hi, Please disable the firewall for a test. I suspect that a block rule was allowed by your mother so that this happened. Also, you may check the advanced settings of the firewall, then disable all the block rules. If the issue still occurs, you may ping a public DNS name to see whether the IP address is returned back. If not, this may be a DNS issue, please check your DNS setting. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ”
