Transferring Files on the Network Very Slow in Windows 7 and Vista!!
Hello,When I try transferring a 20MB or 30MB file from my Windows Vista SP2 machine to a Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 across the network, the file transfer speed is extremely slow and then the file never finishes transferring over from the Vista to Server machines. Also, when copying from the Server to the Vista machine, its the same results. What could be happening? We have several Vista machines and all have the same problem. The Windows XP machines do not have any problems at all when it comes to file transfers. Please HELP!!I have tried copying a file using \\localhost directly onto the same machine and it copies perfectly. I have also logged in Safe Mode and tried transferring a file to the either server and I get the same bad results. We have 1 Windows 7 machine that is experiencing the same problem as the Vista machine. Please advise?Thank you,Sergio
