Touchscreen
Hey guys, well I downloaded the RC the day it came out. I have a Touch screen notebook, HP TX2, and I got some questions: 1. I cant do the right click as the "whats new" videos show 2. I cant double line in Paint, as they show 3. The program N-Duo sense doesnt show up I hope you can provide some help, thank you so much for this opportunity to try before it comes to market

As to point 2. of your questions, this requires a multitouch screen because you use 2 fingers for this. I assume your HP notebook is "only" a touchscreen. That would mean you can only use one finger for touch functionality and can't take advantage of the multitouch features of Windows 7.

Hi,You will need the proper touch screen driver to make HP TX2 work. However the last time I heard (a month back) was that HP is only providing the drivers for Microsoft to test internally. What I would suggest is that you contact HP directly and see if you can get hold of the driver.Thanks.Jabez Gan [MVP] - http://www.msblog.org Contributing Author for: (Sybex) MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration Study Guide: Exam 70-643

Thanks for the response, and actually my notebook is multitouch you can search on the web HP TX2, it came with Vista Ultimate, and I could use the gestures, but not as many as the videos of 7 show, thats why I decided to install the RC but I expected Microsoft to update.

OK, well I guess I better contact HP, for the drivers i hope they can provide them, although Microsoft should publish them as update or something or deleted those videos haha. Thx for the response.

Sir_sombra - Someone on the Windows 7 Team Blog mentioned a fairly cool Touch Pack for Windows 7. EDIT: My bad - seems Ed Bott at ZDNet set me straight - seems the device in your HP is from an outfit called Duosense and they've got your drivers for Windows 7 here!! Enjoy!
