Most of features in Windows 7 do not work. Or I just dont understand how to enable them. 1. i can not turn on the windows firewall. I get an error code 0x8007042c and 0x6d9. what do these error codes mean and how can I fix them. 2. I can not locate the Windows defender. 3. I have done a total system recovery recently; after doing so I notice all my desktop icons are shortcuts that I did not set up. Why is this? How can I fix it.
