Toshiba WIFI problem
I have a 1 year old Toshiba Laptop.  Several days ago I could not connect to the internet. I finally got it working that evening but the next night it was down again.  The light on the front of the computer is yellow instead of blue. It is now telling me that there are no networks to connect to, but that I can connect with broadband. I was on the telephone with Toshiba for an hour last night and he had me do some checking. He said that it must be in the software.  I have some understanding of computers, but not a real pro. The Toshiba guy then wanted me to pay $199.00 for him to continue to fix my problem. I could not afford to pay that at this time so I am hoping that someone has had a similar problem and knows what is wrong. I have other devices that are connected to my WIFI, and it is working fine. My computer did and upgrade and shut down the other day, not sure if this problem has anything to do with upgrade, but it was at about the same time as I started having trouble.

Hi,

What does you mean above? Did you upgrade your system to Windows 8.1, then che problem occures?

If so, it should be WiFi driver compatibility problem, you can access Toshiba official driver download site to download Windows 8.1 driver for test.

In addition, please check WiFi driver status in Device Manager if there any unusual.
