Time keeping rules
Can someone tell me what happens over time if the computer is set to adjust for daylight savings time automatically via the internet but the internet is not connected? We have a research project involving many computers and I thought all of them had the automatic daylight savings time adjust turned off. However a few computers were found to have significant time shifts occure over several months. When checked, all of those machines had the auto adjust via the internet box inadvertently checked. The other computers were fine. None of the machines were connected to the internet. Can anyone tell us why the times changed over several months? That is, what rules are followed if the auto change box is checked but the machine is not connected to the internet?1 person needs an answerI do too
