Hi syssy, - Do you remember making any recent changes to your computer after which this issue has started to occur? Try changing the Date/Time in Basic input/output system (BIOS) and check if that helps. Refer the manual or contact the manufacturer to change the settings in BIOS. Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can resolved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk. I would also suggest you to get in touch with your Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to get the CMOS battery checked. It could be possible that the battery is dead and you may also loose the information when the computer is shut down. If it's whilepowered off, the problem is very likely the battery. But if it'swhile running, it can not be the battery, because the battery isn'tused while the computer is running. If the clock loses time while running, try this:Open a command prompt window (Start | Run | cmd) and enter thefollowing commands:net stop w32timew32tm /unregister [ignore error message]w32tm /unregisterw32tm /registernet start w32timeKen Blake (MS MVP)
