This copy of Windows 7 is not genuine.
In effect this problem is from when I've changed the HD (320GB to 640GB). Your solution is still the same (installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers) ? Thanks a lot for your support Adriano

Post back with a new MGADiag afterwards if it fails, though, youll be best going direct to WGA support. WGA Support can be found here- North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4 Outside North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0 Please let us know if (and how) MS manage to repair the problem without a repair install of the OS - it would be useful for future reference! If the non-genuine message keeps coming and going, then its certainly a race condition, but it can be a nightmare to work out exactly what is causing it, as the act of looking for it can stop it happening. One year ago I've updated my notebook (Sony Vaio) from Windows 7 Home to Windows 7 Professional (MAPS; it's GENUINE). It works ok for some (8/9) months. "Adriano Iannotta" wrote in message news:8be1c369-4ab6-4afb-86ad-fc5a93207457... One year ago I've updated my notebook (Sony Vaio) from Windows 7 Home to Windows 7 Professional (MAPS; it's GENUINE). It works ok for some (8/9) months. After this time, at start up (and during some idle) it gives me the "This copy of Windows 7 is not genuine". Reading this forum I've executed the MGDiag tools. Thanks Adriano The set of file mismatches highlighted above are typical of one of two causes:- 1) a restore from an image backup of the system 2) a failed driver update The only one for which we currently have a solution is the second..... Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers try downloading and installing them from here - http://downloadcenter.intel ......com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Chipsets&ProductLine=Chipset+Software&ProductProduct=Intel%c2%ae+Rapid+Storage+Technology - youll need the set for the x64 (64-bit) platform on Win7 If it doesnt want to install for any reason do NOT force it it means that the update is not applicable. Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report. Good Luck! Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth
