There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request
I am running Windows 7 Enterprise Edition (x64) and when I login to any of my domain accounts everything works fine but when I try to login to the local administrator account, I receive the error: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. I think this is strange as the logon server should be local to the laptop since I am trying to login locally. I have disabled all security software (firewall, antivirus, antispyware, etc.) as suggested in similar posts and the problem still exists. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? Thank you, John

make sure you'r not trying to logon to THE DOMAIN with your local administrator account. in the log on screen..in the "LOGON TO" SECTION, MAKE SURE ITS SET TO "THIS COMPUTER" OR type as your username; computer_name\admin_account if that doesn't work, check if this happens to any other computers on the domain, if yes, then its a domain policy issue, if it only happens to your computer, then disjoin the computer from the domain, restart, and rejoin again.GoodluckTunde Abagun MCP,MCSA,MCTS,MCITP en p "for the love of Computers"
