The network path was not found
So here's the deal. I've got a network setup and divided into 2 areas. First area is GREEN. This is the area I use for my private needs 192.168.0.* Next is ORANGE. This one I use for my server and data 192.168.10.* I have a system with Smoothwall for routing and firewall. I have a rule where I can access the orange zone from green but orange can't access green. Now I have a NAS in the orange zone 192.168.10.12 I can access it from any PC in the green or orange zone. All but one in the green zone, 192.168.0.5 Now this worked with no problems for the past year and a half that I've had this setup. Just yesterday it stopped working after a windows update. I had a lot of problems with the last update of my system and just decided to format. It worked, I could access the NAS again, but then I updated my system and it stopped working again. And this is on a brand new windows installation with NO antivirus and no third party software. I even disabled the windows firewall. The NAS is a Extreamer Etrayz. It's a linux system with samba. If I try to access directly \\192.168.0.12 I get error code: 0x80004005 If I try to Map a network drive: 0x80070035 I already have the network drive mapped from where it worked, it just won't work when I click on it: "An error occurred while reconnecting Y: to \\192.168.10.12\Privat\Files Microsoft Windows Network: The network path was not found This connection has not been restored." I don't know if I could write anything more, I would really like to fix this problem. EDIT: I forgot to add, I can access the web interface of the NAS in a browser (HTTP://192.168.0.12:8080), I can ping it, I can SSH onto it I just cant access the files. I can also access the other PC in the Orange zone with no problems.

Hi, Please check whether the NFS for Client is enabled when you complete updating the System. Control Panel=>Programs and Features=>Turn Windows features on or off Hope this helps. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
