Hi, I have Win7 x64 with SP1 installed and joined to my company's domain. I've been facing this problem for a long time now. When I try opening the ICS service, it tells me that The Internet Connection Sharing(ICS) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs. Does anyone see what's wrong? or how to troubleshoot this?

You probably did not configure ICS. You don't need to start this service in services.msc. It is started automatically when you configure it. To configure ICS go to Network and sharing center, then click 'change adapter settings'. Open properties of adapter whose connection you want to share.
