Sorry for the long title - but it explains a lot.
Trying to log in an HP 4120 phone using a USB connection into the PC.
All connections from PCs using Lync Client work fine. It's just the hard Lync phones that do this.
(also happens with our Aastra phones)
This was taken from the Lync Server Logger:
The connection was closed before TLS negotiation completed. Did the remote peer accept our certificate?
The 4120 is not "manually configured" with anything.
It does however, get some information from the DHCP server, but that's just the domain name and an IP address for DNS.
I see from other searches that the phone shouldn't be "manually configured" with the IP address of the Edge Server.
Perhaps I should just give it the fqdn of the DNS server?
Any other ideas?
