The Chkdsk.exe program does not start correctly on a Windows XP.
I schedule a disk check during the next system startup, but disk check does not start correctly.The countdown timer is displayed and prompted to press any key if want to skip the disk check. However, the disk check was cancel without any key is press.Anyone here please provide a solution for me, Thanks a lot.1 person needs an answerI do too

what you can try is to boot with a win xp cd.then at the setup screen select repair to launch the recovery console.when you get to the disk prompt type and run the following commands>:chkdsk /rfixbootthen exit, remove cd and the system will restart.if the checkdisks are still scheduled to run at boot time, they will likely run once, find no errors and proceed to launch the desktop.db`...> DatabaseBen, Retired Professional - Systems Analyst - Database Developer - Accountancy - Veteran of the Armed Forces - @Hotmail.com "share the nirvana mann" - dbZen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > >
