The CNG Key Isolation has lost it's path to exectable is there any way to restore it
I ran an ADWARE removale software on my HP dv9700/Vista SP2 Laptop. Since then I have lost access to my wireless. The CNG Key Isolation in system services has no path to executable. There seems to be no way to send it in the right direction. The proper path is C;\Windows\system32\laass.exe. When I attempt to start the CNG I get an Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified. I have tried; 1. regedit2. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\ndisuio3. Change Start to "0x000000002 (2)"4. RestartThat did not work...I have tried CMD 'sfc /scannow' that also did not work....Is there anyway to re-enter the path into the CNG Key isolation?

I had same problem on a client laptop. Supposedly they had done something w/ adware too.The "ImagePath" had been removed/erased/deleted from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\KeyIso.The following steps got the wireless back up:1) Added a new "Expandable String Value" Where Name = "ImagePath" & Data = "%SystemRoot%\system32\lsass.exe.2) Started "CNG Key Isolation" service3) Started "WLAN Auto Config" serviceGFigDU
