The CD ROM driver doesn't display or run anything from the autorun.inf file in the retail CD or any CD
Alright, the problem first started when I was about to install Adobe Creative Suite CS5. The AutoPlay thingy shows up, but does not display the executable file that is commanded from the autorun.inf file. So I had to go into the CD ROM directory and find the setup.exe file to install Adobe Creative Suite CS5. After I installed them, I was just about to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, but it too had the same problem as Adobe Creative Suite CS5 CD. And that's when I knew there was something wrong with my laptop. I wonder what has been removed in the registry? How can I get the CD ROM drive to display the image of the program and run the .exe commanded from the autorun.inf file again? I looked all over the internet for an answer for it. But most of them were about disabling the autorun.inf file, and when I tried them in reverse, it didn't work. I think it might have happened after I uninstalled RAMDisk, but I'm not sure. Please help me.
