Text size in IE8, Win7 7100RC
I reformatted and did a clean install of the Win7 RC. IE8 does not display text and pictures in the correct size. My display resolution and font size are set correctly. I don't have this problem when I use Firefox and I didn't have this problem with Win7 7000 Beta 1. I don't like to use Firefox and would like to find an answer to the problem. I would appreciate any assistance available. Thank you for your time.It is the responsibility and duty of everyone to help the underprivileged and unfortunate among us.

C.B., Have you tried resetting your browser settings to the default? This setting is available under the Advanced tab of the Internet Options menu.-Alex

Hey Alex. Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, I have tried that and everything else. The problem seems to be only in IE8.C.B.It is the responsibility and duty of everyone to help the underprivileged and unfortunate among us.

Hi CBYou might want to try the Compatibility View in IE8.Open the IE8 Help and type Compatibility. Click the link 'Why don't some websites display correctly'.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP

Thanks for the reply, Mr. Vernon. Compatibility View doesn't help. All websites are displayed with text that at times is too small to read, including this website and all other Microsoft websites. As I stated earlier, I do not experience these problems with Firefox and when accessing any programs or data. I've been disgusted with IE since its inception and it seems Microsoft just can't get it right no matter how many times they try. I prefer IE over all other browsers but it's worthless to me as it now stands. It is the responsibility and duty of everyone to help the underprivileged and unfortunate among us.
