Terminal Services differences between OSes.
Can anyone tell me the default performance options used with Terminal Services on WinXP vs. on Win2K3? When I use TSWeb to connect to a WinXP machine, I see the wallpaper and see the full window on drag. But when I connect to a Win2K3 server, I don't see these things. I have tweaked the AdvancedSettings.PerformancFlags settings when calling the ActiveX control and can "disable" these things when connecting to the XP machine. But I want to know what the default flags are for Win2K3 to make sure I am turning off everything that I should be. Also, what kind of bitmap caching is being done on Win2K3, or at even better, what is recommended for the best perfromance?1 person got this answerI do too

Sounds like a question you should ask in the Terminal Services forum. Try here:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserverTS/threads -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com | http://www.onenote-tips.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook
