Terminal Services Client Internal Error
I am using Propalms launchpad to access my work files. This is how my IT person set it. We use Practice Partner EHR at my work. My problem is that when attempting to launch Practice partner or any other program after logging into propalms. Win7 IE8 is giving me an error stating that: An error has occured while launching the application. Terminal Services Client Internal Error. No specific information is available. I am running Windows 7 64 bit Home premium version. It is a Gateway computer NV series. My Question is how to go about fixing this error? My IT person and the people at Tridex systems that does Propalms can't seen to figure out the problem. There is not a way that they have set up to go through Remote Desktop services to fix the problem. Also when I am connected to there server/Internet access it works fine. It is only when I am using thier relay service from my home internet I have the problem. Please let me know how to fix this issue. Thanks Darcee

Hi Darcee, Please configure the Terminal Services Client to use Terminal Services Gateway server: 1) Open Remote Desktop Connection Client. 2) Click Options. 3) Click Advanced and click Settings. 4) Select “Use these RD Gateway server settings”, Input the server name of TS Gateway server that you want to connect to. Please note: you need to specify a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). 5) Uncheck “Bypass RD Gateway server for local address”. 6) Click Ok. 7) Then click General, input the name of computer that you connect to. 8) Click Connect. See if you can connect now. Best Regards DalePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Dale, Thanks, but the only way I can hook up to my works network is through propalms. I tried what you have suggested but when I put in my username and password, it just comes back and asks me to put it in again. I can log in fine through propalms, I just can't get access to my works programs on the network. That is when I get the error message: An error has occured while launching the application. Terminal Services Client Internal Error. No specific information is available. If I have to use RDC, I guess I will have to see if my work IT can configure it to work. The problem that I probably didn't stat above is that, when I am on my job's premises, my laptop will allow me to log in and work with the programs. They told me that when I am at home I am using the relay server they have. When I am at work, I am using the work server. It works fine with the work server but doesn't really server purpose since I have a computer at work. I need this one to work at home. If you have any ideas on getting my computer to work with the relay server that would be great. I don't think it likes the relay for some reason. THanks for all of your help. Darcee
