Hi I am currently running 7 on my dell laptop and I am very happy with it aslong as it is plugged in. I have a problem though when using it on battery power only. The screen seems to go into a negative mode where everything is very bright. When using battery power the desktop appears fine it is only when opening up programs when this broblem occurs. Any suggestions?

Hi cJonny I have not seen this issue reported before? The only thing I can recommend is that you check with Dell for any known issues with this behavior and to make sure that you have all of the latest drivers installed for the hardware components on that system. Hope this helps. Ronnie Vernon MVP
