Telnet: How to put router to sleep for certain time
I want to put router(GLB-502T) into sleep for certain time, so is there any telnet command or any other way to do same?I can Kill connection using kill 1, but it reconnects again. I am using PPPoE mode so it connects automatically as soon as ADSL is available. Any help there?

I would think that you could get away with using a timer on the power supply to the router. Set it to a digital or analog timer so it wakes up and quote unquote dies when you want it to. You can pick one up at the home dumpo or any other electrical store.

I want to solve this at code level. So if telnet could make it sleep it would be great.

Hi, Based on my understanding, whether we can make the Router sleep for certain time by using command is decided by the specific Router. I suggest that you contact the Router Vendor to confirm whether this Router has this feature and how to do that.
