Technet Licensing
Can anyone point me at the licensing/activation for Windows 7 available thru Technet Direct? I'm thinking about buying a Technet Direct subscription looking at Windows 7 networking in particular. I'm going to want to install Windows 7 on multiple machines, of various types (Desktop, Laptop, Media Center etc.). Is Technet the best/cheapest way of doing this? I read somewhere that there are 10 licences for each desktop OS with 10 activations per licence. Is this correct? I've read and re-read the Technet FAQ and can't seem to find any definitive answer.

Yes, Technet is the cheapest way of doing this. I spent more upgrading my home pc's to Vista than it would have cost by using Technet Plus. That's for evaluation purposes of course. Yes, I have heard from a coworker and read on this forum that each key will only allow 10 activations.I'm not sure if you can get more by requesting it. I haven't installed on more than 10 pc's so I can't help with that.Buying it is easy, but I'm not aware of any more discounts other than Student discounts. Also, if you get the TechNet Direct (Retail)you'll needa fast internet connection as the iso's are quite large, otherwise you can order the version that sends you the DVD's.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx

Yes, TechNet is great. My subscription has expired, but I intend to buy another one before the Windows RC expires in a year. See also: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/bb892756.aspx.
