Teamcall member forward call to another Teamcall member got strange results

Hello. All,

I got two Lync 2010 users, Boss & Secretary,  who wanna use Lync Teamcall to simulate a PBX user experience. The scenario is

When a Caller (C) make a call to the Boss (B), both Boss(B) & Secretary(A) 's Lync Phone/client 2010 will ring at the same time. If the Boss(B) ignore the phone call or not in seat, the Secretary pick up the phone. If the call keeps ringing, the call will be forwarded to Secretary's phone, so that keep ringing Secretary phone. If the secretary doesn't pick up the phone call, the call will drop to Secretary voicemail.

The Boss adds the secretary to his Teamcall member, and set "unanswered call" forward to Secretary phone in 30sec.

The secretary also "unanswered call" forward to Secretary's voicemail in 30sec.

There are no case to setup this:

a). add the Secretary phone by directly typing Secretary's phone number

Result: when the call from Boss forwarded to Secretary phone, Secretary phone doesn't ring, but the call will drop to Secretary voicemail.

b). add the Secretary phone by choosing Secretary account in the list

Result: when the call from Boss forwarded to Secretary phone, Secretary phone ring up. However, it will NOT drop to Secretary voicemail finally. Just an announcement the call cannot be reached.

I would like to clarify that the Lync Teamcall function that it doesn't suppose Teamcall member set call forward to another teamcall member. Or any other workaround to simulate such usage. Thanks.

1. forwarding a Teamcall is not supported

2. Boss/secretary function, if the call will not pickup, the voicemail of the called number will be played. If the boss is called his voicemail will be played and not the secretary's voicemail.

If the secretary's make a forward to mobile the calls will be forwarded only with Lync 2013

If you need other scenarios, you need additional software like Bressner foncomfo
