Taskbar disappears often!
Hi I am using windows 7 professional for my toshiba laptop. All of a sudden a weird problem of taskbar disappearing is taking place in my laptop. I searched in this forum for the issue and applied all the solutions provided already(like registry edits ,lock taskbar, removing the faulty screensaver, balanced power management) but not solved yet. How can this problem be rectified? Thanks & Regards S.Swaminathan

Hi, See if any of suggestions below help. Method 1. Try to upgrade your BIOS to latest version. Method 2. Refer the following steps to restart Explorer.exe. Go to the Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del), click on the Processes tab, end the explorer.exe task, click File, choose New Task, and type in explorer.exe and press Enter. Method 3. Consider of the System Restore. In addition, Please do not use any 3rd party registry clean tools and any Anti-Virus software which not compatible with Windows 7.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. You may have tried this solution, too, but I'll put it out here just in case . . . Right-click on the taskbar and select "Properties" from the context menu. On the "Taskbar" tab, make sure that "Auto-hide the taskbar" is unchecked.
