Taskbar apps disappear after encrypting drive with Bitlocker
After enabling Bitlocker and encrypting my C drive (running Win 8.1), my pinned applications no longer appear in the taskbar. It is just completely blank. If a launch an app, it still appears in the taskbar. If I keep rebooting my computer, normally 1 out of 5 times the apps will all appear. The other 4 times, my OS boots with a completely blank taskbar (the taskbar tray is fine though). I am positive this is due to Bitlocker encryption because it started happening immediately after encrypting the drive, and I hadn't changed anything else on my system. Anyone else experiencing this with Bitlocker?

No, I am not, but I figured out a workaround. When the taskbar disappears after a reboot, I just need to launch an app and pin it. After pinning it, all my apps appear! Odd.
