I have the same problem on about 15 XP machines. All scheduled tasks fail with an error like this (from schedlgu.txt)"McAfee LogCheck.job" (checkcls.bat) 16/07/2010 08:45:00 ** ERROR ** The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed; therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account information existed for the task. The specific error is: 0x80090016: Keyset does not existthe command used to set up the job was this:schtasks /create /sc DAILY /tn "McAfee LogCheck" /tr c:\mcafeecls\checkcls.bat /ru System /st 08:45:00this responds withINFO: The Schedule Task "McAfee LogCheck" will be created under user name ("NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM").WARNING: The Scheduled task "McAfee LogCheck" has been created, but may not run because the account information could not be set.The AT scheduler does not work either, this responds with either "The data is invalid" or "The device does not recognize the command". The job is listed, but when the time comes to run it, "Error" appears in the status column and it is re-scheduled for tomorrow.I had a look at Technet Article ID: 246183 (Windows 2000 support) which looked promising but the registry settings and crypto folders are not present on these machines.
